This weekend Mark Webber took the win at Monaco in the amazing Red Bull car with second place actually going to someone else within the same group, are Red Bull going to get a one, two in the championship too??
They have been doing consistently well since the start of the season and it would seem that the only thing that has been letting down so far is not the drivers or the cars but the people in the pit’s not knowing what they are doing. Although I am in full support of Button and Hamilton I will say that the likelihood of either of them actually winning is quite slim thanks to the Red Bull car this year.
Button’s early exit of the race was down to a blocked vent during the first safety car period. I find myself disliking Button more and more at the moment because he just knows he is good, that is annoying indeed.
Vettel really isn’t too happy at the moment as he came in second on the same team and this is something that is happening a lot at the moment between these two racers. Webber thinks he is more than good enough to win the championship and that the only reason he let Vettel through on the first corner of Malaysia was because of new mirror rule.
In all honestly I think that the championship is very much open for debate and although I will admit it would seem Red Bull have a little bit more of an advantage it is by no means a set tournament.
Car accessories are certainly not cheap for these cars which are why it is a good job that they do not need satellite navigationand pressure washers.
Then again I might find that Red Bull prove me wrong on the next event, it remains to be seen.

If there are any new drivers reading this, chances are that you are excited about being able to get your own car, but there might also be some apprehension about it all. Out on the road on your own, without the reassurance of a driving instructor might make some people a little anxious. In most cases though, the majority of drivers are just relieved that they finally have some independence!
Do You Know The Inner Workings Of Your Car?
Many drivers neglect the fact their car might encounter some technical problems, because in most cases the car new drivers get simply isn’t going to be new. It could be that your parents have bought you a vehicle and it is verging on being an old banger. With the recession still biting at the heels of drivers, not everyone can pay for a new car and an older car is the only option, but then you have to take into consideration all the extra problems you may encounter. For example, gearbox problems are a dangerous reality of old cars and some new drivers simply aren’t away of what to look for or how to go about fixing it.
Find The Info Yourself
Any understanding parent should point a new driver in the direction of where they need to be for getting their gearbox problems sorted. Head online and see if any gearbox repair centres are local to you, as there are sure to be some with a prominent presence on the web. Don’t leave your car with a dodgy gearbox – find someone close by to repair it.
The next thing you’re probably going to be concerned about is the cost. No gearbox problems are going to be particularly cheap to fix, but some garages will do their best to keep costs to a minimum. If you need the gearbox replacing, for example, then you could always consider a reconditioned gearbox, which will save some much needed pennies.

We all know that Xmas is fast approaching and there has never been a better time to check that things in order, which includes checking the status of your car. Anything that goes wrong with your car over this festive period limits your travelling distances, so you want to make sure you can still get to the mother in law’s home for Christmas Day. The worst case scenario is that it is your car gearbox that needs changing, and that’s why it is advisable for all drivers to get their car gearboxes checked over.
Car Gearboxes Can Be Affordable
Naturally, you’re going to be relieved if you don’t have to pay for a new gearbox, and you might consider it to be an early Christmas present. There are some people that will get bad news about their gearbox though, and they will need to find a specialist repair centre urgently. Don’t worry though – there are some gearbox repair centres out there that won’t charge the earth for a new gearbox fitting in your car. You might even get the choice of having a reconditioned gearbox fitted as opposed to a brand new one, which will save money in the long run.
Anyone thinking about going on holiday for Xmas will want to know their car is working and driving fine before they set off, in order to minimise the risk of anything untoward happening such as the gearbox failing. There are actually many people that fall into this category, which isn’t what anyone wants at this festive time of year.
Look At Both Old And New Motors
Also remember that new cars often need gearbox problems and the like sorting out. There are cars that might have only done 10,000 miles and yet they start with gearbox problems. It would be unfortunate if this was to happen, but you get the idea. So, if you don’t want your Christmas ruined by a faulty gearbox, its time to get your gearbox checked now before its too late!

If you think you would panic if your car started faltering, don’t feel like you’re the only one. When something goes wrong with the vehicle, getting to grips with the internal parts is usually a job left to the mechanic. And although men are usually the ones that know more about cars, it is sometimes the case that even they don’t know what do with an internal fault issue like a faulty gearbox. Car gearboxes are notoriously hard pieces of kit for people to get their head round, and just looking at one may surprise you when you learn that it is a main function of the car. There’s no way that you can believe a part like that controls so much. Naturally, if you notice your car’s gearbox isn’t functioning properly, the best thing to do is to check it in at a repair centre immediately.
Nursing Your Car Better
With car faults, the garage will need a certain amount of time to check things over, in which case you may be asked to leave your car overnight. It’s a bit like a hospital admission for your poorly relative, although in this case it is your car that’s poorly. The closeness drivers have with their cars means it can be quite traumatic to leave the car in overnight. Trust in the mechanic to make sure your car, and its gearbox, gets nursed back to good health. In most cases, the mechanic will recommend 1 of 3 options for resolving the car gearbox problem, which will either be having a new gearbox fitted, having a reconditioned one put in place or if the fault isn’t bad, the existing gearbox may be able to be replaced. If you’re cost conscious, you’re likely to request a reconditioned gearbox as opposed to new one. In terms of car gearbox repairs, a reconditioned gearbox is always going to be the cheaper option, whereas a brand new one will cost a pretty penny.
Safe Driving
Once you have made your mind up about which gearbox you want, your car will soon be back on track. If you want your car to get moving again, you need to have a fully functioning gearbox. Unless you have a really old car that you can just scrap, a gearbox repair is the only thing you can consider in order to get your car working again. Therefore, hand it in to the mechanic and he will work his magic to make it work and look brand new.

What’s the easiest way to add a lift to your vehicle? I’m sure this is what Rancho asked themselves which eventually lead to the design of the quickLIFT. The quick lift is both a suspension lift and a high-performance shock absorber built into one unit and is the fast way to raise your vehicle.
The quick lift shock was engineered for the specific vehicle it will be installed on. This means they’re not a one-size-fits-all product. quickLIFT shocks provide as much as 2.5-inches of lift in addition to superb driving quality and comfort.
Quick lift shocks provide lift through a simple engineering concept of preloading the coil spring. Preloading pushes the suspension downward (away from the chassis) thus resulting in lift — true suspension lift.
quickLIFT shocks are the latest innovation of the myRIDE family of Rancho suspension dampening which means they feature the same 9-position adjustable shock absorbency as the RS9000XL line of shocks. The adjustment options are plentiful: soft for freeway driving, firm for off-road driving, mid-range for towing or hauling. The choice is all yours.
Being part of the myRIDE family also means they’re compatible with the Rancho RS999705 myRIDE wireless remote control so you can adjust them without exiting the vehicle.
This quickLIFT shock offers several advantages.
* They reuse vehicle’s factory coil spring. There’s no need to buy additional parts and retains much of the factory drive quality because the ride is still dependent on the factory spring.
* Quickly and easily provides up to 2.5-inches of lift. In many applications, this levels the front of the vehicle with the rear and allows the fitment of larger tires without the need of a full, differential-drop or axle-drop suspension lift.
* Adjustable shock absorbency with nine levels of firmness.
* Cutting or welding is not required like some suspension lifts.
* Easy enough to be installed by the “backyard mechanic” and installation typically takes a few hours.
If you’re looking to add some height to your vehicle without the expense of a fully engineered suspension lift, then be sure to give Rancho a look.
