Audi broke the mold when its concept TT car was presented at auto shows around the world in the mid1990s. Named for the prestigious annual “Tourist Trophy” race held on the Isle of Man, the TT is based on the same platform which powers the Volkswagen Golfing and the Skoda Octavia. Using anodized aluminum and a “bumper free” exterior, the TT coupe wasn’t like any vehicle of its time when the 1st production model was released in 1998. Today, the TT continues to collect awards and win praises from Audi fans. If you like the current model, just wait one year and you’ll witness the release of a TT that goes miles past the pale.

When talking about the TT, there are basically 2 models involved: one being a coupe, the other a roadster. Shortly after the coupe’s introduction in 1998, the dragster version was released the following summer. Both models were originally powered by a twenty valve inline 1.8L 4 cylinder engine, however in subsequent years each model received a stronger version of that engine while a 3.2L V6 was introduced as an option during 2003. The TT is powered by its front wheels, but Quattro all wheel drive is available as well.

Audi’s success with the TT has helped it to carefully develop its second generation model. Almost a full decade after the original model made its debut the chase up TT is being readied and will go into production in 2007. The new TT will include the following attributes:

Longer and Wider: Slight changes in its width and length will be joined into the new model. Expect more cabin room for added interior comfort.

Aluminum and Steel: The new TT will be made up of aluminum in the front and steel in the rear to persuade a better weight balance.

More Power : The 1.8L I4 engine will be replaced with a 2.0L I4 engine. The 3.2L V6 will still be offered, producing 250 h.p… A 6 speed manual transmission will be standard equipment.

More Models: The coupe and roadster will be introduced back to back with a 3rd model, presumably a van version, also being considered for production.

Principal rivals for the Audi TT have been the BMW Z4 and the Mercedes SLK. The TT’s styling inspiration has found its way onto many models including the Saturn Sky, Mazda Miata, Nissan 350Z, and the Pontiac Solstice. In all, the Audi TT has reinvigorated the roadster market and it appears that the impending TT will expand on that theme even further. This is great news for enthusiasts who want a unique and well engineered 2+2 vehicle as part of their driving stable.

Over the past few years I have seen very favourable reviews of Audi cars on programmes like Top Gear. I decided that I wanted to invest in one, but due to the depreciation of new cars at the moment, I chose to buy a Used Audi from my local Sytner Dealership. I was presented with a superb choice of cars and took my time to pick the right one for me. After a few test drives and much deliberation I decided to drive away with a Used Audi TT. The Audi TT is a perfect car for those who like the sportiness of roadsters, but enjoy the practicalities of saloon cars. The Used Audi TT supplies you with all the motoring pleasure you could wish for.

The very first time I drove my Used Audi TT I knew driving was never going to get any better than this. The smoothness of the drive was matched by the urgency of the powerful engine. I felt safe; cocooned within the tough body that has passed all of Audi’s rigorous safety tests. I also felt as though I was driving a luxury car. The interior of the Used Audi TT has been designed to a very high specification and makes the driver or passenger feel as though they are inside a considerably more expensive car. I thoroughly enjoy every driving experience I have in my Used Audi TT regardless of how I am feeling.

I still cannot believe I found this car for such a reasonable price. With only 3,000 on the clock, my Used Audi TT will guarantee me years of driving pleasure and gives me the feel of driving a luxury car even though I paid a far from luxurious price for it. I would recommend Sytner Used Audi for anyone looking for a cheap Used Audi TT or any other Used Audi model.

As you are no doubt aware the car industry is suffering recently due to the long term economic recession that we have found ourselves in. This has meant that a majority of the buying public have had to tighten their purse strings and reign in the gratuitous spending of the nineties and early noughties. To many this would equate to downgrading the vehicles they drive and going for cheaper and inferior models than what they would prefer to be driving. This is not necessary and I have the perfect antidote to those who would love to drive a luxury car but cannot imagine a feasible way of affording one. I would strongly suggest visiting Sytner Used Audi and find yourself a fantastic Used Audi bargain.

Trust me, I wouldn’t offer this advice had I not tried it myself. I visited Sytner Used Audi and had a good look at all the Used Audi models in their dealership. After a gratifyingly short amount of time I found a fantastic Used Audi TT, which had exceedingly low mileage, was relatively new and was a fraction of the price of a new model. After just one test drive I was completely convinced that the Used Audi TT was the perfect car for me. A few hours later and I was driving my car home.

So my advice to everyone who genuinely thinks that they should give up the dream of luxury car ownership would be to visit Sytner Used Audi as soon as possible. It is highly unlikely that their bargain prices will last for long as they are likely to be snapped up very soon by fellow eager bargain-hunters.

Whilst we may be unable to change the financial course of the economy ourselves, we can conduct our lifestyles in the way we are accustomed to. All we have to do is bargain-hunt and re-evaluate how we buy our goods. Visiting Sytner Used Audi  was a great start for me.

With its win in the sports car category of the readers’ poll “Classics of the Future 2009,” the Audi R8 mid-engine sports car underlines just what a positive impact it has on the Audi brand’s image, as perceived by classic car fans. Most of the participating readers of classic car magazine “Motor Klassik” chose the R8 as the current sports car with the greatest potential for becoming a classic in the next decades.

This is the fourth time that this election occurred.  Alongside 78 models from 1979, some of which have already become genuine classics, readers were also able to choose from 168 current models in seven categories. “This endorses our decision to follow up the Audi TT with a particularly emotion-stirring mid-engine sports car. In keeping with this special prize, the Audi R8 can now also be ordered with another classic, a 10-cylinder engine,” says Michael-Julius Renz, Head of Sales Germany at AUDI AG. Renz thanked the readers and editorial team of “Motor Klassik” as he collected the prize yesterday evening in an appropriate setting at the historical automotive location in Stuttgart.

With its third place, the Audi A6 scored a further success for the brand with the four rings in the category “full-size car of the modern age.” The “Classics of the Future” prize is awarded every two years.

As a man of very discriminating tastes, I knew it was going to be quite hard when I went hunting for a new car. I had a financial budget set, a vague idea of the sort of car I wanted and a date to go shopping. All of this was thrown into the air when a friend of mine questioned my choice whilst we were enjoying a drink in a cinema bar one night.

“So are you telling me that you haven’t considered investing in a used Audi?”

To be honest I hadn’t. I was planning on getting a new car and praying that it would be reliable enough to last a long time. My friend went on;

“Used Audis are great choices. They are exclusive. They are reasonably priced. And they perform in a unbelievably good manner.”

I wasn’t completely convinced that a Used Audi would be for me. That is until I tried one. I test drove a Used Audi A3 and was completely surprised by it. The Audi A3 model I tested had an Inline four-cylinder spark-ignition engine with petrol direct injection, exhaust turbocharger with intercooler, four valves per cylinder and double overhead camshafts (DOHC). It was absolute perfection.

When my test drive had ended I was completely in love. I needed to buy the Used Audi A3 Sportback. Within a matter of hours the Used Audi A3 Sportback was mine and I was off for a long drive, experiencing driving perfection. I doubt very much whether I will buy off any other car manufacturer again. The Audi A3 is really that high quality!

11 months later and I am still in love with my Used Audi A3. It is reliable, very powerful and extremely beautiful. I would recommend Used Audi cars to anyone looking for a great car at an unbeatable price. I visited my local Sytner dealership and got a fantastic deal.
